SeaBuffer is an additive especially designed to increase and maintain the alkalinity and pH in saltwater aquariums. Composed of a special mixture of buffer substances like carbonates, bicarbonates and borates, SeaBuffer progressively increases the pH without shocking marine animals.

Originally, AQUARIUM SYSTEMS’ REEF EVOLUTION range was developed by Peter Wilkens. Mr Wilkens was one of the pioneers of reef aquariums and he has written a number of reference books on the subject. His method and products are still used today by many aquarists. Their effectiveness and the simplicity of the method need no further demonstration. Among other flagship products developed by Peter Wilkens and sold under the Aquarium Systems brand are Reef Kalk (Kalkwasser method), CombiSan (recently renamed REEF ELEMENTS) and CoralSan (recently renamed CORALLINE BOOSTER). In the interim, the range has been extended to include numerous products that facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of your marine (or, for certain products, freshwater) aquarium. A unique identification system (1, 2 and 3) helps you to understand and identify the effect of each product on your aquarium.
